Plastic Lid Art

First, I practiced on smaller sizes (8x10). I've never done this before, just saw amazing pictures of others' creations.  The canvas is coated with an art arnish medium as a  final protective layer.

My First Graders worked very diligently on this project!  It changed a few times, then the FINAL design with symnetrical pattern was accomplished!

A parent did the final step of gluing the lids on the canvas.   We used a low temp glue gun and E600 epoxy for plastic to plastic application.

We are so proud! I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome.

This will be one of two art pieces from my class for our school auction in May.
