So thankful to UtahRoots for posting this lesson on how to customize your URL. Oh, so nice!! I'm adding an image of the website you will be directed to. It's as easy as one, two, three. Really!
Instructions for creating hyperlinks using Easy Hyperlinks
Here you go:
Go to the product page for the product you will link TO.
Copy the URL for that product.
Go to http://www.easyhyperlinks.com/
Look for the box that says Target URL. In that box you'll see the beginning of a URL. Delete it.
Paste your product URL in the box.
In the box that says Display Text type the name of your product.
Click the button that says Construct Link.
Your product name will appear as a hyperlink in the box that says Test Your Link. You can test it if you want to, but you don't have to.
Copy everything that appears in the box that says Your HTML Code. Make sure you're really copying EVERYTHING in that box . It's going to be really long.
Go to the editing page for the product where you want to insert the link.
In the description, paste the copied hyperlink wherever you want it to go.
After you submit the change, go back to the product page and check to make sure the link works. If it doesn't or if it doesn't even show up at all, I can almost guarantee you that you didn't really copy EVERYTHING in that HTML code box on EasyHyperlinks.
