Summer Reading

I'm not a huge reader -- a book has to really grab my interest.

My mom shared this book with me, though both of us are beyond raising our children,

I found it to be a delightful read.

In fact, it did grab my interest, and I read it in just a couple days.

Jennifer Grant has a style that makes you feel like you are sitting down having a conversation about the topics in this book, Momumental -- or you wish you were.

I highly recommend this book for all Moms.  Jennifer has a way of sharing perspectives that make you

think, chuckle, RELATE, and maybe even change your way of doing something.

As I read, I thought about my role as a teacher (which is my daily life with young children), 

and also as a Grandma to 6. 

I know she changed my perspective on the words, "I'm bored".
