I always look forward to Hat Day. It's usually the Friday of the first full week.
Yes, we read "The Cat in the Hat'. (of course!)
All my First Graders (and me, too) wear a hat of our
but use our hats to do some serious sorting.
Often times, we are challenged to find categories that stretch
beyond the typical.
One year we had a category of 'Itchy Hats'!
In the afternoon, we have a Hat Shop.
